Athletic Trainer
If you play sports, you need a good athletic trainer to provide the on-field healthcare services you need. If you’re the parent of an athlete, only the best athletic trainer will do for your son or daughter. Before we get into our services at Core, let’s define what an athletic trainer does.
Your athletic trainer is a healthcare professional that provides preventative treatment services, acute and emergency care, and rehabilitation, all under the direction of a supervising physician. They are the liaison between coaches, athletes, parents, doctors, and other healthcare professionals. In fact, they are typically the first person an athlete looks to for medical advice.
At Core, our athletic trainers provide medical coverage to the following high schools: Oxford, Alexandria, Cleburne County, Ohatchee, Ranburne, Faith Christian, Donoho, and Talladega County Central. They cover games, visit schools daily, and administer preventative treatment or rehab services. Our athletic trainers are highly skilled and educated to give your athlete a quick, yet thorough initial evaluation. The important details they provide doctors and physical therapists are critical to offering your athlete the best outcome possible.
